Andrew Ong
Pastor of Care & Discipleship
Andrew began serving at Christ Church in 2018. He completed an MDiv at Westminster Theological Seminary in 2015 and a PhD in World Christianity at the University of Edinburgh in 2020. Andrew's prayer is that Christ Church would simultaneously be a safe place for examining the gospel, and a sacred place for exulting in it.
Born and raised in the East Bay Area, Andrew, his wife Chelsea, and their two daughters live in Castro Valley, near the homes they each grew up in. Andrew loves the gospel, snuggling with his girls, feasting with family, hooping with his lifelong #DubNation bros, and smiling.
