Karen Wesolowski

Clerk of Session - Personnel Team

Karen and her husband moved to Berkeley in 2017 after taking one look at their new granddaughter. Prior to moving here, they lived for many years in the Washington, DC area and before that in the Chicago area. Karen grew up near Appleton, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin and William and Mary Law School. After practicing law for ten years, Karen left the practice to raise a family, and later to serve on the board of Compassion International, the largest Christian child-sponsorship organization. Karen has served on the Compassion board since 1998 and held the office of chair from 2012 to 2019. Besides her great loves of Jim, her family, and Compassion, Karen is a fan of the Packers, the Warriors (when they are winning), and studying and teaching the Word of God.

What is Christ doing in your life right now?
His blessings truly are new every morning, as the Psalmist says, so it is a daily adventure.
